Carson (Hambone) Corrigan
March 4, 2022

Carson (Hambone) Corrigan, 6, traded in his superhero cape for a brand new pair of custom fitted Angel Wings, early Friday morning, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama, son of Jason and Erin (Gray) Corrigan, he lived his life to the fullest. Carson enjoyed riding his pony named Cowboy. He had a great love for 4-wheelers and tractors. Running his own lemonade stand is something he always cherished. Carson brought great joy and happiness to our lives and his heartwarming smile will never be forgotten.

The family wishes to thank Tim and Mary Bucklaw, Richard and Sue Wise, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Santana and his team, as well as the hospice nurses for their compassionate, loving care shown to Carson.

In addition to his parents, Carson is survived by two sisters, Lainey and Aizlyn; paternal grandparents, Jeanne and Tom Corrigan; maternal grandparents, Catherine and Edward Gray Jr.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be Wednesday from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 2 Hospital St., Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Those attending the funeral are asked to go directly to church.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Additional parking is available at the rear of the American Legion, Post 221, located across the street from the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carson’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital’s Hambone fund at http://giftfunds.stjude.org/HamboneFund.
