Thomas J. Tucker, 77, Mayfield, died at home Thursday. His wife is Michele Dimyan Kopa Tucker.
Born in Scranton, son of the late William and Ethel Tucker, he was self-employed as a truck driver. Following retirement, he drove escort vehicles for transportation of modular homes.
He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, enjoyed riding his Harley and watching football. The family extends its sincere gratitude to Allied Hospice staff for their care and kindness.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Thomas Tucker Jr., Peckville; Michael Tucker and Mark Tucker, both of Philadelphia; Justin Kopa, Waverly Twp.; a daughter, Michele Luminella and husband, Robert, Drifton; grandchildren, Shawn Tucker, Justin Kopa Jr. and Scottie Ward; brothers, Wilfred, Robert and Donald Tucker, all of Scranton; a sister, Tina Kelly, Moscow; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Tucker, and a brother, William Tucker.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. The Rev. Don Perry, Carbondale United Methodist Church, will hold a memorial service at 5:45 p.m.
