Thomas C Gallinot, 76, South Canaan, passed away at home, July 07, 2022, surrounded by family. Born and raised in Carbondale, he worked for the Labors Local 158 Union until retirement. Thomas loved taking care of his hummingbirds and beloved dog, Jack. He enjoyed spending time with family and going for coffee with his friend, Bob.
 
Son of the late Eleanor Petrous Gallinot and Carl Gallinot, Thomas leaves behind: his three children, Thomas P Gallinot and wife Misty, South Canaan; Catherine Gallinot, Throop; and Robert Gallinot and companion Lynn Wright, Newfoundland; grandchildren: Cassandra Gallinot, Stephanie Gallinot, Samantha Gallinot, Thomas Gallinot, Tinasha Gallinot, and Elisa Gallinot. Courtney McDonald Burke and husband Cody and son Cooper, Lake Ariel PA.
 
He has two brothers Richard Gallinot, Elysburg; and Steven Gallinot, Carbondale; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joann Gallinot Clemo and brother, Kevin Gallinot.
 
He was also lucky enough to have an extended family with his ex-wife, Rose McDonald Gallinot and her children: Rose O’Brien and husband Brian; Kimmy McDonald and companion Chris; Patrick McDonald and companion Olivia; grandchildren: Robert Ransom and wife Patricia; Kayla Strackbein and wife Brittany; Colton McDonald and wife Alexandria; Belle McDonald and John Galati; great grandchildren: Lily, Raelyn, and Ellie Ransom.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held at the discretion of the family. As an expression of sympathy, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis TN. 38105
