DONALD FRISBIE, 76 OF PORT ORANGE, FL, PASSED AWAY ON JUNE 4, 2022, IN BRACEY, VIRGINIA SURROUND BY HIS FAMILY

BORN JULY 22, 1945, IN LODI, NY. SON OF DONALD HENRY FRISBIE AND ELSIE VIRGINIA SWEET FRISBIE.

DONALD WAS PROCEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS DAUGHTER, CATHERINE BOYD, NOVEMEBER 12, 2021 AND ALSO PROCEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS, THREE BROTHERS, RANDY, DUANE AND WILLIAM (BILL).

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS DAUGHTER, KIMBERLY HIS SON-IN-LAW (SON) DAVID PHILPOTT OF BRACEY/NEWPORT NEWS, VA, DAUGHTER JILL GAHR OF WILLIAMSBURG. (7) SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN JOHN DAVID OF AUSTIN, TX, SARAH BARANSKI (BRYANT) OF CONN., SHELBY HARDEE (CHASE) OF NEWPORT NEWS, VA, STEPHANIE MURRAY (SHAWN) OF WILLIAMSBURG VA, SHANNON PHILPOTT OF NEWPORT NEWS VA, JACOB MCALLISTER OF AUSTIN TX, AND SYDNEY GAHR OF YORKTOWN, VA AND EIGHT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY (5) FIVE BROTHERS, GARY FRISBIE (ANNA) OF JERMYN, PA, JOHN FRISBIE (MARY) OF ARCHBALD, PA, JAMES FRISBIE (LISA) OF UNION DALE, PA, PAUL FRISBIE (JOANNA) OF SHERBURNE, NY, BRIAN FRISBIE (EDIE) OF HARFORD, PA, (3) THREE SISTERS JANICE CEMINARO (JOE) OF TUCSON AZ, KATHY HAAS (DAN) OF JERMYN PA, FAITH MERKEL (DOUG)OF SCOTT TWP, PA AND NUMBEROUS NEPHEWS AND NIECES.

DONALD SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY AND WAS PROUD OF HIS SERVICE DURING THE VIETNAM WAR. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE VFW AND AMERICAN LEGION.

DONALD WAS A WELDER AND RETIRED FROM NORSHIPCO IN NORFOLK, VIRGINIA.

HE WAS AN AVID NASCAR RUSTY WALLACE AND DANNY HAMLIN FAN, PENN STATE FAN AND WASHINGTON REDSKINS FAN.

DONALD LOVED HIS FAMILY AND CHERISHED EVERY MOMENT WITH THEM. IF YOU SPOKE TO HIM ON THE PHONE OR JUST A SIMPLE TEXT, YOU COULD FEEL HIS LOVE THAT HE HAD FOR YOU. HE WILL BE LEAVING BEHIND MANY FRIENDS THAT HE CHERISHED. JAMES DRAGOTTO WAS MORE LIKE A BROTHER TO HIM THAT HE LOVED DEARLY. HE LOVED SPENDING TIME AND HANGING OUT WITH HIS DEAR FRIENDS HAROLD & BARB BARRY, BILL MILLER AND JANE BRUNS OF PORT ORANGE FLORDIA

DURING THE TIME OF HIS ILLNESS, HE LOVED TALKING AND TEXTING SO MANY OF HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE FELT SO LOVED. IF HE WAS HERE TO GIVE YOU HIS LAST ADVICE, HE WOULD TELL YOU TO LOVE MORE AND BE HAPPY.

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE WITH MILITARY HONORS WILL BE HELD FRIDAY, JULY 22, 2022, AT 11:00 A.M. IN CANAAN CORNERS CEMETERY, WAYMART.
