Julie A. Gigliotti

July 3, 2024

Julie A. Gigliotti, 56, Carbondale, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of Robert A. Gigliotti and the late Paula (Juliano) Gigliotti, she was a licensed cosmetologist and an animal lover who enjoyed watching movies.

Not many had the chance to get to know Julie, but those that did could attest to how good of a person she was. She would always find a way to make you laugh whether that be through sharing videos she found funny or telling her “Mom” jokes. She went out of her way to help people whenever she could. Julie was a loving mother and very supportive. She encouraged you to follow your dreams and take care of yourself. Her favorite phrase when giving those pep talks was “don’t be like me, make sure you live your life to the fullest because you’re never promised tomorrow.”

In addition to her father, Julie is survived by a daughter, Adrianna Gigliotti, Carbondale; two brothers, Robert Gigliotti and his wife, Annette, Blakeslee; Anthony Gigliotti, Carbondale; a grandmother, Gertrude Gigliotti, Gouldsboro; an aunt, Donna Willard and her husband Tom, Roaring Brook Twp.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her mother, Julie was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph J. Gigliotti; grandparents, Paul Juliano, Fern Juliano, and Anthony P. Gigliotti.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale.  Blessing service will be held at 5:45 p.m. in the funeral home.  Future interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.
