Elaine Wormuth

Elaine Wormuth, 76, Carbondale, died Tuesday at Carbondale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in New Rochelle NY, daughter of the late Al Turpack and Rose Marie McHugh, she enjoyed bingo; was an avid reader; and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family extends its sincere gratitude to Hospice of the Sacred Heart staff and the Carbondale Nursing Hone staff for their care.

Surviving are: daughters, Michele Mosolino, Uniondale; Cindy Arthur, Carbondale; a son, William Wormuth and wife, Tami, Carbondale; grandchildren, Marcus Arthur; Jessie Grizzanti; Philip Mosolino; Makaila Mosolino; Summer Wormuth; Ryan Wormuth; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Leslie Turpack, Greenville Pa. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Turpack and Charles McHugh.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 pm until 7 pm at Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.
