Eugene Dixon

Eugene Dixon, 65, Lake Ariel, passed away Monday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. His wife is Michele Keller Dixon.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Joseph and Helen Swanick Dixon, he worked at General Dynamics in Pittston as a Lead Machine Tech. He was a hard worker his entire life and could repair just about anything. In his spare time, Eugene enjoyed being with his wife as a vendor at craft fairs; woodworking; and creating things.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Michele; son, Richard Williamson and wife, Cristy; daughters, Kelly Walker and husband, Jeremy; Tanya Joslin and husband, Sam; grandchildren, Ricky, Ariel, Kc Zeoli and husband, Brian; Taylor; and Roger; great grandchildren, Audun; and Alina; many nieces; nephews; friends. HE IS ALREADY DEEPLY MISSED. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Dixon and sister, Ann Dixon Stevenson Vance.

A viewing will be held Friday from 1 pm until 4 pm at Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. A Blessing Service will be held at 3:45 pm. Cremation will follow. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.
