Joseph Mark Sr., 78, Greenfield Twp., died Tuesday at Commonwealth Regional Hospital, Scranton. His late wife was Mary Ann Calanni Mark.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Dominic and Helen Zataweski Mark, he worked for many years at RCA and as a bartender at Calanni’s. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. Joe was a founding member of the Coal Cracker Cruisers; a member of the Knights of Columbus; and an avid antique car enthusiast.

Surviving are: three sons, Salvatore Mark, Greenfield Twp.; Joseph Mark Jr., Carbondale; Dominic Mark and wife, Dawn, Carbondale; a daughter, Francine Adams and husband, James, Greenfield Twp.; 10 grandchildren, Desiree Brooks-Mark and wife, Christin; Austin Davis; AJ Adams; Salvatore Mark Jr.; Chelsie Mark; Jade Mark; Dominic Mark; Ava Mark; Gia Mark; Joey Mark; two great grandchildren, Evelyn Brooks-Mark; Bennett George Brooks-Mark.
