Barbara Kovaleski

Barbara Kovaleski, 85, Carbondale died Thursday at home. Her husband was the late Albert Kovaleski.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Molinaro Donato, she cherished time spent with family and friends. She provided school transportation for Carbondale Area students for a number of years.

Surviving are a daughter, Patty Mucha, Olyphant; three sons, Joseph Kovaleski and wife, Annmarie, Simpson; Steven Kovaleski and wife, Karen, Forest City; David Kovaleski, Carbondale; four grandchildren, John Alexander; Erin Kovaleski; Adam Kovaleski; Nicholas Kovaleski; two great grandchildren, Aubrey Smith; Lucas Smith; several nieces and nephews.

As per Barbara’s request, viewing and services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment, Sandy Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Twp.
