Robert H. Roach, Jr., 78, Carbondale, died Friday morning, March 21, 2025, at home.

Born in Patterson, NJ, son of the late Oakley and Evelyn (Redner) Paulison, he grew up in Midvale NJ, then moved to PA. He was a car and truck enthusiast who loved auto racing and worked as an equipment operator for North Jersey Water Supply Commission before retiring.

His survivors include 5 children, Robert Roach III and his wife, Dawn, Ringwood NJ; Glen Roach and his wife, Lois, Ringwood NJ; JoAnne Oltmanns, Ringwood NJ; Tammy Perry and her husband, Chuck, Carbondale PA; Denise Taylor and her husband, Keith, Wanaque NJ; a brother, Lenny Paulison and his wife, Debby, Milford PA; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Oakley Paulison; and son-in-law, Frank Oltmanns.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale.
