Ann M. Simoncic

Ann M. Simoncic, 93, of Forest City, died Wednesday at Forest City Nursing Home.  Her husband was the late Bernard D. Simoncic.

Born in Vandling, daughter of the late Frank and Frances Kepic Kerzic, Ann worked at Weston (Lockheed Martin) for many years before retirement. She enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping, baking and taking care of her grandchildren.

The family extends its deepest gratitude to her devoted niece, Cheryln Apostolico.

Surviving are: three daughters, Ann Marie Ermolovich and husband, Walter, Old Forge; Bernice Lukus, Vandling; and Carole Curran and husband, James, Clarks Green; five grandchildren, Nicholas and Tanya Ermolovich, Jennifer Slick, and Michael and Robert Curran; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Mary Risboskin, Sophie Urbas and Lillian Miluszusky.

She was also preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Ascension Parish, Forest City. Cremation followed Mass.
