Anna M. Warholic, 85, Carbondale died Friday at Carbondale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband was the late Joseph Warholic.
Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy Lilholt Glanville, she was a certified nurse’s assistant who worked at Carbondale Nursing Home and did private duty work for more than 25 years. Anna proudly noted her greatest accomplishment in life was her family. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.
Her family extends their sincere appreciation to Cottage Hose Ambulance staff and Dr. Rajan Mulloth and staff. The family also thanks the Carbondale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation staff for the kindness and love shown to Anna during the last year.
Surviving are: a son, Mark J. Warholic, Carbondale; two daughters, Jo Anne Warholic, Carbondale; Mary Ellen Owen and husband, George, Richmondale; a grandson, Zachary Ryan Warholic; two sisters, Mary Lou Perri; Elizabeth Ellen Granville, both of Carbondale; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen J. Warholic and a brother, William Glanville.
The funeral will be Monday from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp..
Friends may call Sunday 4 pm until 7 pm.
