Carmel H. Paserp, 87, Forest City, formerly of Carbondale Twp., died Wednesday at Forest City Nursing Home.
Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late John and Rella Talerico Bruno. Aunt “Donnie”, as she was called by nieces and nephews, had no children of her own but was very kind to her family especially her many nieces and nephews. Family members will miss her homemade piggies. She enjoyed a good laugh.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her late husband, Peter Paserp; siblings, Anthony Bruno, Michael Bruno, Joseph Bruno, Ralph Bruno, Rita Barnfather and Mary Sheridan.
Services and interment will be held at Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Mayfield.
