Linda, words will never be able to express my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your husband, Matt. I never met Matt; I only knew about him in emails from you. I realize that you loved him dearly and he was there for you. During this difficult time, lean into Jesus. Allow God to comfort you with HIS blanket of love; and trust HIM to make the days ahead a little lighter by celebrating the memories that you and Matt created together. I love you; but remember, God loves you the MOST!!! Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Matt, you suffered through many trials and tribulations and never, once, lost your faith in God. I had no doubt that you are up in heaven looking down and protecting those you love. Linda, he was a good man and I can see he married a good woman. You need anything, you have but to call. I hope to get out your way some time after the new year and will come to visit then.

My sincere condolences. Matt was remarkably kind, generous, and gifted with humor & music. I know he is at peace as he was a lifelong disciple of Christ. His passing is a great loss. I will be praying for the family. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him and I am helped. Psalm 28:7
