Heather Reneé Casper, 39, Carbondale, died Wednesday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She was the wife of attorney Walter F. Casper Jr.

Born in Melbourne, Fla., daughter of Michele (Yankovich) Antenori and Ralph Antenori, Herrick Center, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Carbondale. She was currently a student at Fortis Institute, Scranton. Heather was a member of the OTOE-Missouria Tribe and was proud to be a Native American and a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.

She was a devoted mother who truly enjoyed watching her children participate in sports, sing in choral concerts and perform in gymnastics. Her passion in life was her children. Heather enjoyed exercise and listening to the Grateful Dead and the Dave Matthews Band.

Surviving are two sons, Connor Dearie and Evan Dearie; two daughters, Skylar Dearie and Ella Casper, all of Carbondale; a stepson, Sam Casper, Greenfield Twp.; a brother, Brent S. Crane, Minooka; a nephew, Brayden Crane, Carbondale; and niece, Maya Crane, Great Bend; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bryan Crane; brother, Bryan S. Crane; an uncle, Dennis Crane; maternal grandparents, Michael and Mary Yankovich; and paternal grandparents, Dennis and Florence Crane.

The funeral was held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale, with a memorial Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment, private at a later date.

Friends called Monday, March 5, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m.
