Karl (Doc) Parry

Karl (Doc) Parry, Scranton, died Friday at Geisinger Community Medical Center. He was the husband of Alma Paniagua.

Born in Stroudsburg, PA, son of the late Edmund Parry Sr. and Phyllis Frisbie, he was an outgoing man that enjoyed making people laugh. He had a love for horror, Weird Al Yankovic, Dr. Who, and wished he could be the next Freddy Krueger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Alma Paniagua, and mother, Phyllis Frisbie, he is survived by a daughter, Karlee Parry, Carbondale; one brother, Edmund Parry Jr., Carbondale; two sisters, Christine Custard and husband John, Carbondale; and Doris Marici and husband Christopher, Lake Ariel; 1 grandchild, Christian; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Eck.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 74 North Main Street, Carbondale.
