Timothy C. Rossetti, 52, of Simpson, died Thursday at home. His wife is Letevia Settles Rossetti.

Born in Carbondale, son of Sheila Jordan Rossetti, Bradford Rossetti and stepmom, Frankie Rossetti, Tim was a two-sport standout at Carbondale Area excelling in football and track. He coached for many years in the Carbondale (Blitz) Jr. Chargers football program and was a Carbondale Area Chargers’ varsity assistant football coach for the past 10+ seasons. He was also the Chargers’ head track coach for many years and was at Wednesday’s track meet guiding the Chargers’ program. He was a great husband, father, son, coach and mentor who had a great sense of humor and personality plus. Tim loved everything about his hometown, Carbondale and enjoyed being a part of his alma mater’s sports programs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Zach Rossetti, Florida; Jordan Rossetti, Carbondale, and girlfriend, Maura Healey; Adam Rossetti, Carbondale and girlfriend, Kaidyn Gallagher; a daughter, Peyton Settles, Simpson; a brother, Kyle Rossetti and wife, Brandy, North Carolina; a sister, Michelle Urda and husband, Paul, Jermyn; a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Tyler Rossetti.

The funeral will be Monday from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church. Cremation to follow. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill, at a later date.
