Mildred C. (Fredo) Gigliotti

Mildren C. (Fredo) Gigliotti, 92, Carbondale, passed away on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. Her husband, James Gigliotti, died in 2007.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Boyle) Fredo, she was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.

Surviving are son, James Gigliotti and wife, Linda, Carbondale; daughter-in-law, Joann Rude, Gouldsboro; five grandchildren, James, Marco and Michael Gigliotti, James and Jack Rude; four great-grandchildren, Lila, John, Finn and Vivian; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by son, Jack Rude; brother, Patrick Fredo; and sister, Margaret Renzullo.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023, at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale.
