The phrase "A Man for all Seasons" comes to mind when I think of Steve. He was well respected and well loved by so many...his family, his many friends, old and new, and his community. He was remarkable in many ways, always with a ready smile or quip, always working to improve his community, always ready to help wherever he saw need. I have known Steve since grade school. Even back then, he was a friend to all, a natural leader, a competitor with heart, an all around "good guy". He will be missed by so many. Fly free, my friend, with joy in the next chapter.

I knew Steve through our mutual association with the Y, I was the Executive Director of the Hazleton facility. Steve was always so helpful and willing to do anything to help a new, fledgling director navagate the Y system. I am so sorry for your loss. Know he was loved and admired by many

Steve will be sorely missed in this community. He was a positive influence to anyone who came in contact with him. He enjoyed life. As a classmate of Steve, I knew Steve for a number of years. I admired his positive attitude. I lived across the river from Steve and we would compete as a team against each other in sport activities such as wiffle ball, basketball, baseball, football. In every instance, Steve’s team would prevail. I met Steve in the summer of 2023 and he informed me that he was playing pickle ball. I thought maybe I would challenge him one last time, but never got that chance. I am sure he is looking down from heaven with his infectious smile Telling me I didn’t have a chance. Rest in peace Steve.
