Joey and family. So sorry for John’s passing. A true friend for many years. I’m glad I saw him on one of my last trips back. This might be a little late but, it will be true, “may you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you are dead”

Dear Lawler Family: I would like to express my deepest condolences on John"s passing. John was indeed a true genteman and genuine nice guy. We worked together at NEIU #19 as speech therapists before he became the HR Director. We had many dicussions together pertaining to Union issues. I always found John approachable and helpful in matters concerning our Collective Bargaining Agreement. John helped start our teacher's association which became known as the Association of Special Education Teachers of NEIU#19. May you all find peace, love and comfort among family and friends during these sad and trying times. May John rest in peace in God's hands and above all cherish his memory.
