Funeral Services

At the time of your loved one’s passing, we will assist your family in planning a meaningful tribute for your loved one and choosing from options that will suit the needs of your family as well as honoring your loved one’s wishes.   Funeral services can be held in our funeral home, your church, or at the cemetery.  We will arrange a meaningful celebration of your departed loved one’s life through whatever means you choose.  From the time you place your initial call to the Gabriel Funeral Home, we take pride in handling every aspect of the funeral process for you.

Our family will gladly provide the following services. . .

Pre-Planning

While most of us don’t want to think about the end of our own life, there can be many advantages to planning a funeral ahead of time.  At the time of one’s death, there are difficult decisions to be made.  By pre-planning, these decisions won’t have to be made during a time of grief, stress, and sorrow.  You will be able to weigh your options.  Would you like a traditional funeral service with a burial?  Is cremation an option for you?  Your wishes can be put into writing in order to give your family some direction and guidance when the time comes.  Our staff will help you plan every detail so that your family can carry out your wishes.

Obituaries

We will prepare an obituary to be published for your loved one.

Death Certificates

We will file all necessary paperwork and obtain copies of a death certificate which will be important for insurance purpose as well as many other things.

Social Security

We will file all necessary paperwork and notify the Social Security Administration of the death.  We will explain any benefits you may be entitled to and assist you in applying for those benefits.

Veteran’s Benefits
